I love this song as it causes us to focus and anticipate the return of Christ.  He is coming back for His bride and it is our responsibility to make sure that we have made ourselves ready.

The whole of Matthew 24 speaks of his return, as it is written we do not know the time or hour.

⁴² “Therefore be on the alert, for you do not know which day your Lord is coming. ⁴³ But^[ be sure of this, that if the head of the house had known at what time of the night the thief was coming, he would have been on the alert and would not have allowed his house to be broken into. ⁴⁴ For this reason you also must be ready; for the Son of Man is coming at an hour when you do not think He will.  ⁴⁵ “Who then is the faithful and sensible slave whom his master put in charge of his household to give them their food at the proper time?

Revelation 1:7 –  Behold, He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him; and all the tribes of the earth will mourn over Him. So it is to be. Amen.

Our hearts cry is – Come Lord Jesus… especially as we see all that is happening in the world today, as outlined in Matthew 2.

Revelation 22:20 – He who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I am coming quickly.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.
