Psalm 33 – Creation
Psalm 33 is a great reminder of God’s participation in Creation. As we teach about creation, let us create a wonder – not only in what God has made, but most importantly – who our God is! Below is a small commentary which reminds us of the application of Psalm 33 to our Christian teaching.
Psalm 33:3-9
3 Sing to him a new song; play skillfully, and shout for joy. (A true response to ah revelation of God.)
4 For the word of the Lord is right and true he is faithful in all he does. (Let’s paint a right picture of who He is)
5 The Lord loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of his unfailing love. (Ask yourself how can you see God’s love in His creation?)
6 By the word of the Lord the heavens were made, their starry host by the breath of his mouth. (Power of God’s Word to create and sustain)
7 He gathers the waters of the sea into jars; he puts the deep into storehouses. (What a picture and thought to meditate upon)
8 Let all the earth fear the Lord; let all the people of the world revere him. (True fruit of real Christian Education -in our lives and our hearers)
9 For He spoke, and it came to be; he commanded, and it stood firm. (Don’t mess with His Word – it is powerful!)
