I love this quote from Howard Hendricks, it reminds us of the importance of our personal example and the need for a genuine relationship with God – as we reproduce who we are out of our hearts, not what we teach necessary from our lips.  Like trees were created to reproduce after their own kind, so do we, even in the classroom.

Luke 6:40 – ‘Students are not greater than their teacher. But the student who is fully trained will become like the teacher.’
