Kinetic Energy – What moves you?

Kinetic energy is the energy of motion, observable as the movement of an object, particle, or set of particles. Any object in motion is using kinetic energy…As a Christian teacher it is great to consider what you are teaching from a biblical perspective.

  • The amazing thing is that it is only through God that we exist.         Acts 17:28 – “For in him we live and move and have our being.” As some of your own poets have said, “We are his offspring.”
  • I love this Scripture, that not only He created us… but also He is the one holding us together!                                                           Colossians 1:15 – Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation, for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can’t see— such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world. Everything was created through him and for him. 17 He existed before anything else, and he holds all creation together.
  • So what moves you? Our hearts can be moved to action.  Exodus 35:21 – All whose hearts were stirred and whose spirits were moved came and brought their sacred offerings to the Lord.       Matthew 14:14 – And when Jesus went out He saw a great multitude; and He was moved with compassion for them, and healed their sick.
  • Our hearts can also be moved to fear and our lives shaken. Trusting God helps us not be shaken.  Psalm 16:8 – I have set the Lord always before me; Because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved.  Psalm 46:5 – God is in the midst of her, she shall not be moved; God shall help her, just at the break of dawn.
