Colossians 1:15-17 – Great verse for Christian Education!
Colossians 1:15-17 is an amazing Scripture about the supremacy of Christ in Creation. A great verse for Christian Education!
15 The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.16 For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. 17 He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.
It is so important that as we teach about the Creation around us, that we not only recognise God’s role in creating all – but indeed acknowledge how He holds it altogether. All creation wasn’t just created by Him – but indeed for Him… How inspiring.
Many may have seen the discovery below of a protein that holds the body together… As you will see it is in the shape of a cross which is pretty amazing! Although this doesn’t prove this Scripture it is a great physical illustration of this truth. Thanks Louie Giglio for inspiring us once again to be in awe of God. Love your work!
We don’t believe this Scripture because of this, but it sure does get us excited to see God’s fingerprint over what He has made.
